Rei Kawakubo’s COMME des GARÇONS and its SHIRT subdivision continue their exploration of footwear with a collaboration with ASICS, taking on the GEL-KAYANO 14. The COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 was recently teased at Paris Fashion Week as part of CDG’s AW25 rollout.

About the COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 “White”

Dressed in an all-white ensemble, the CDG SHIRT x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 embodies elegance, while a harmonious dance of mesh and synthetic overlays forms the upper. Delicately etched along the flanks, semi-glossy vector logos introduce subtle chromatic variations.

ASICS’s hallmark GEL technology is integrated well with the aesthetic, enhancing comfort while adding a subtle visual dimension. Lastly, minimalist co-branding graces the insoles, echoing the restrained ethos of previous collaborations, such as the GEL-Terrain.

Release Details
