Ever since the debut of the Maliss archetype in Deck Build Pack: Crossover Breakers, many of the cards of that archetype have gone on to not only be massively popular with Yu-Gi-Oh TCG fans, but also have significant gameplay viability; Maliss decks have made impacts at many tournaments. The latest major hit from the Maliss archetype came in the recently-released Core Booster Alliance Insight: Maliss <P> March Hare.

About Maliss <P> March Hare (Alliance Insight ALIN-JP023)

This card not only has a Quarter Century Secret Rare version; it also depicts a female character who’s part of a hugely popular card archetype. Both of these factors are certain to attract many interested buyers. The point about the card’s rarity takes on further relevance when considering the fact that the Quarter Century Secret Rare rarity was retired from the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG following the launch of Alliance Insight.

Like other cards from the Maliss archetype, this card references Alice in Wonderland as well as computer malware. The card’s name alludes to the March Hare from Alice in Wonderland; it’s also a reference to the Hare computer virus which attacked many devices in 1996. It should also be noted that this character depicted is essentially a female anthropomorphic version of the March Hare—something which is likely to appeal to a “certain” subsection of fans.
