Although there are many cards in Alliance Insight which can come in Quarter Century Secret Rare, all of them but one also exist in other rarities. The only card in Alliance Insight which was exclusively printed in the rarity created to honor the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG was Dragon Master Lord.

About Dragon Master Lord (Alliance Insight ALIN-JP000)

Not only is Dragon Master Lord a card which only has a Quarter Century Secret Rare; it’s also the last time that there will be a Quarter Century Secret Rare-exclusive card. This is because following the release of Alliance Insight, Konami “retired” the Quarter Century Secret Rare rarity. As such, it’s entirely possible that this factor may cause the value of this Dragon Master Lord card to rise over time.

This card, a counterpart of Dragon Master Knight, is the combined form of two characters also depicted on cards which only came in Quarter Century Secret Rare. The first of the two is Ultimate Dragon of Pride and Soul; the second, Paladins of Bonds and Unity. With 5000 original ATK and original DEF, Dragon Master Lord has the highest original ATK and original DEF of all monster cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. It’s also the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG’s first-ever Rank 12 Dragon monster card.

A copy of a Dragon Master Lord (Alliance Insight ALIN-JP000) card has a sale price of 35,000 JPY (~US$225).
