[Update 21 Feb 2025] The first details about character backstories to be expounded upon in The Valuable Book EX 5 have now been revealed. These backstories pertain to characters of the following card archetypes: Ryzeal, P.U.N.K., Dragonmaid, Argostars, Maliss, Evil★Twin, Eldlich, Ryu-Ge, and Fiendsmith.

[Update 7 Feb 2025] Two card images from The Valuable Book EX 5 have been posted on the official Yu-Gi-Oh TCG website. These images are of Soul of Gaia the Fierce Knight and Veiss Shark. Check them out in our gallery and stay tuned for more to come.

The next edition of the Valuable Book EX series will be arriving in stores on 21 March 2025. The Valuable Book EX 5, which will contain selected promotional Yu-Gi-Oh TCG promotional cards, will be launched a day short of a year after its predecessor The Valuable Book EX 4 dropped.

As of right now, not much information about The Valuable Book EX 5 is yet known; the identities of its cards or themes haven’t yet been revealed.

Apart from its release date, the only thing currently known about The Valuable Book EX 5 is its retail price of 1,540 JPY (~US$9.90).
