Everybody was caught by surprise as news broke of RTFKT’s impending slumber. Just four years after the Swoosh acquired the rebellious blockchain brand, whispers of a final curtain call echoed through the metaverse. Refusing to go out without a bang, one last collection takes a victory lap before RTFKT fades into the digital ether, and a new collaborator joins the party.

About Nike RTFKT’s MNLTH x Blade Drop

For longtime RTFKT devotees, two familiar faces grace the stage: the RTFKT Dunk, this time cloaked in an all-black ensemble, and its close cousin, the CodeX Dunk.

But the true stars of this show are the four brand new silhouettes: the CYBR STOMPER, a design with a hint of Chukka boot inspiration, and the ferocious trio of Bladed Dragon, Undead Evo, and Reptile Evo. These latter three take a sharp turn towards the animalistic, their forms jagged and adorned with teeth and fangs that seem to snarl around the forefoot.

Release Details

Here’s where things get interesting, folks. Access to five of these six creations is a gated affair. Only those who signed up on mnlth.rtfkt.com and hold an MNLTH X token will be eligible to redeem purchase access for all six styles.

But unlike its brethren, however, the RTFKT Dunk isn’t locked away. Zellerfeld, ever the gracious host, keeps its collaborative and in-house designs available for purchase long after the initial launch. So, the RTFKT Dunk will join the illustrious Zellerfeld archive upon release, ready to be claimed by the general public.
