Nike Basketball is ramping up production of the Kobe 9 Elite Protro, with new and classic colorways slated for release in 2025. Following last year’s high and low-top versions in the “Halo” series (which will also feature the Kobe 3 Protro this year), and the re-release of the original “Christmas” edition at the end of 2024, more Kobe 9s are on the way.

According to reports from zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the Nike Kobe 9 EM Low Protro “China” is expected to make a comeback. Although no images are available yet, it’s anticipated that the 2025 version will retain the original’s red, gold, and black palette, along with a unique graphic on the tongue.

Release Details

While Nike hasn’t officially confirmed the re-release of the Nike Kobe 9 Low Protro “China”, it’s rumored to arrive during the holiday season via Nike SNKRS and select retailers globally. More details and images are expected to surface soon.
