In addition to the forthcoming “25.2 SUNFLOWER WIP” collection, Song for the Mute x adidas are reportedly planning a separate 2025 release. This parallel project is expected to feature the Superstar 82 and Adistar Cushion models, demonstrating the continued creative partnership between the two brands.
About the Song for the Mute x adidas Superstar 82 & Adistar Cushion Pack
The Song for the Mute x adidas Superstar 82, available in Black and White versions, takes an asymmetrical approach, showcasing premium hairy suede on one half of the upper juxtaposed against high-quality, work boot-inspired leather on the other. Waxed laces, collaborative branding, and hand-buffed accents further elevate this classic silhouette.
Meanwhile, the Adistar Cushion arrives in a clean “Core Black/Core White” palette, blending performance and lifestyle aesthetics through a mix of materials on the upper and featuring responsive AdiPRENE cushioning. Subtle Song for the Mute x adidas branding, including logos on the tongue label and lateral profile, completes the look.
Release Details
While no official release dates have been confirmed, the Song for the Mute x adidas Superstar 82 and Adistar Cushion Pack is expected to arrive by Summer 2025 via songforthemute.com and adidas CONFIRMED, priced at US$140 and US$160 respectively.
