Jun Takahashi’s iconic Japanese label UNDERCOVER is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a special collaboration. Teaming up with denim giants Levi’s, this new release promises to be a nostalgic journey through the brand’s history.

About the Levi’s x UNDERCOVER 35th Anniversary Collection

The collection draws heavily from the AW98 collection. The Pinnacle Type II Trucker Jacket, available in black corduroy and selvedge denim, exemplifies this, featuring a modular, zippered design allowing for customizable configurations—a direct nod to the deconstructed aesthetic of ’98, complete with recreated “Small Parts” labels.

Archival graphics from SS03 reappear on the Type I Trucker Jacket and 501 Jean via geometric triangle embroidery. New graphics featuring nail motifs and “LIGHT DARKNESS” lettering adorn the Type III Trucker Jacket and Baggy Jean.

Rounding out the release are short and long-sleeve t-shirts showcasing these fresh designs.

Release Details

Priced between 9,900 JPY (~US$63) and 82,500 JPY (~US$523), the Levi’s x UNDERCOVER 35th Anniversary Collection launches online and in-stores on 18 January via UNDERCOVER, followed by Levi’s on 21 January. Don’t miss out!
