HOKA (ONE ONE), purveyors of cloud-like comfort for terrestrial beings, ventures into stylishly stealthy territory with their “Tech Stealth Collection”. A two-pack bridging the gap between urban jungles and actual ones.

For Spring/Summer 2025, HOKA has taken inspiration from the serpentine world, weaving elegant patterns found in nature—specifically, those belonging to our legless, scaled friends, apropos to the Year of the Snake—into their footwear. A bold move, embracing the sinuous grace of a creature not typically associated with high fashion (unless you’re going for a very specific look).

About the HOKA “Tech Stealth” Collection (Mafate Three2 and Restore Chukka)

Two distinct silhouettes emerge from this reverie: the Restore Chukka and Mafate Three2.

The Restore Chukka TS embraces a snug, sock-like upper, a foot-hug that can be further secured with traditional shoelaces. It’s the footwear equivalent of a chameleon, adapting to casual strolls and more adventurous pursuits.

The Mafate Three2 TS, on the other hand, is a fascinating hybrid, a Frankenstein-esque creation born from the union of two trail-running titans. Taking the shape of the Mafate Speed 2 and grafting onto it the upper of the Mafate 3.

Prepare to shed your old shoes and slither into spring with the HOKA “Tech Stealth Collection”, arriving on 15 January. Find them on BILLY’S ENT then with an RRP of 20,350 JPY (~US$129) and 29,700 JPY (~US$188). Expect a wider release to take place shortly.
