About the New Balance 740v2 “Multi-Color”

The upper is constructed with a purple mesh base, creating a vibrant foundation for the shoe’s diverse color accents. Purple tones are also prominent on the overlays around the toe and vamp, adding a sense of dimension.

A striking silver panel runs across the midfoot, offering a clean contrast to the more vibrant colors. Electric green accents on the signature “N” logo, tongue branding, and lace loops inject a dose of energy, while small pops of orange on the uppermost eyelets provide a playful detail.

Notably, this updated version, the 740v2, utilizes a midsole taken from the New Balance 530, combining orange and blue hues to create a visually interesting contrast with the upper. This midsole choice is intended to enhance the shoe’s aesthetic and its comfort and support. The outsole features a mix of green, blue, orange, and black, completing the shoe’s overall vibrant and multifaceted appearance.

Release Details

The New Balance 740v2 “Multi-Color” is expected to be available in March 2025 through New Balance’s online store, brick-and-mortar locations, and select retail partners. It will come with an RRP of US$110.
