[Pokémon TCG] Approximately US$10,000 Worth of Pokémon TCG Cards Stolen From California Store
The cards stolen from Metro Entertainment were all single cards; each had a value between US$50 and US$500.
A burglary that took place at Metro Entertainment, a comic book and collectibles store in Santa Barbara, California, on 2 January saw the store robbed of around US$10,000 worth of Pokémon TCG cards.
According to store owner Bob Ficarra, all the stolen cards were single cards with values ranging from US$50 to US$500. Ficarra also mentioned that the burglars targeted specific cards before making a quick escape; he also doesn’t expect the stolen cards to ever be recovered.
The burglars entered the store by breaking the deadbolt on the front door; the glass in front door remained undamaged. As of the latest information, Santa Barbara Police are actively investigating the burglary.
