Less than a month after its initial launch, the overwhelming success of Pokémon TCG set Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] drove Creatures Inc. to put out a reprint. This reprint arrived in stores across Japan on 1 January and will be progressively rolled out throughout the first week of 2025.

It should be noted that immense demand wasn’t the sole reason behind this decision. At the time of the set’s initial launch, Creatures Inc. intentionally limited the available quantities of Terastal Festival ex [SV8a] booster packs and boxes. This was done in order to provide the set with perceptions of prestige and exclusivity from the jump.

With this in mind, the reprint was thus intended to rebalance the market and prevent card, pack, and box prices from excessively climbing. This would then allow buyers to purchase more of the set’s products.

Most of the retailers which will be restocked via this reprint are official retailers.
