The upcoming list of Yu-Gi-Oh TCG card restrictions for tournament play in Japan and Asia-Pacific has now been uploaded to the official Yu-Gi-Oh TCG website. A total of 21 cards have had their respective playability statuses updated.

The only card to have been completely banned from tournament decks as per the new regulations is Abyss Dweller. Prior to this update, there had never been any restrictions placed upon that card.

Six cards have been moved to the restricted category, meaning that just one copy of the card is allowed to be part of a player’s registered tournament decks. The cards which are now in the restricted category are Artifact Scythe, Ext Ryzeal, Gold Sarcophagus, Allure of Darkness, Gozen Match, and Cyber Jar. All but one of the cards have had restrictions tightened; Artifact Scythe, Ext Ryzeal, and Allure of Darkness had been unrestricted while Gold Sarcophagus and Gozen Match had been semi-restricted. Cyber Jar, meanwhile, has been unbanned.

A total of seven cards are now semi-restricted. These cards are Seventh Tachyon, Performapal Monkeyboard, Chronograph Sorcerer, Morphing Jar, Snatch Steal, and Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King. All but Seventh Tachyon, which was previously unrestricted, were moved from the restricted category.

Finally, seven cards have been made unrestricted; all had been semi-restricted before. These cards are Eva, Dinowrestler Pankratops, Destiny HERO – Malicious, M-X-Saber Invoker, Purrely Delicious Memory, Branded Opening, and Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer.
