New Balance 1000 Cordura Pack [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Named so because Cordura is used for the base layer.
New Balance has a knack for resurrecting forgotten classics, surprising even dedicated followers with models from its archives. The 1999 tech runner, the New Balance 1000, made a comeback in 2024, notably through a collaboration with Joe Freshgoods. Following this, the 1000 has seen various releases and partnerships. Now, for 2025, New Balance is updating the shoe with durable Cordura fabric in three distinct color options.
About the New Balance 1000 Cordura Pack
These upcoming versions—Olive, Black Grey, and Black—retain the NB 1000’s signature flowing lines. The key change is the use of Cordura for the base layer, maintaining a consistent color with the lower portion of the upper. The shoe’s distinct two-part design is emphasized by both color and material: suede is used for overlays around the mudguard and lower midfoot, while leather forms the top overlay.
Standard New Balance 1000 branding, including the tongue tag embroidery and heel/toe text, is present. A Cordura tag is a new addition near the lateral collar. Notably, the leather strip usually found on the tongue (often compared to the Air Max 95’s tongue) is absent. The design is completed with matching midsoles and outsoles.
