From 18 January to 30 March 2025, ONE PIECE Card Game events known as How to Play Class events will take place at selected locations across Japan. As is implied by their name, they are intended to introduce newcomers to the ONE PIECE Card Game.

About the How to Play Class Events

Participants of one of the How to Play Class events may either bring a deck of their own or use a rental deck provided on-site. Admission to each event is free; however, each event has a maximum of 12 entrant slots. All 12 tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the venue on the day of the event.

At certain events, official staff members from BANDAI will be present to guide participants throughout the process. However, not every How to Play Class event will have BANDAI staff members present.

All How to Play Class event participants will receive a copy of the 5-card Promotion Pack Vol. 6, a copy of a special DON!! card, a promotional storage box, one of six promotional playmats, and a sample deck. The sample deck will be either a Red Luffy or a Red Zoro deck and be handed out at random; participants may not choose which sample deck they will receive.

There will also be a Hashtag Campaign following the conclusion of each event. Only participants of a How to Play Class event may enter the hashtag campaign. To enter, they are to post to Twitter photographs of the event they were in and add the hashtag “＃ワンピカードあそびかた教室”, which translates to “ONE PIECE Card Play Class”. Those who do so will be entitled to receive a copy of the 4-card Standard Battle Pack Vol. 10.
