adidas is joining the fray in the sneaker game for Chinese New Year 2025 with a collection of three classic silhouettes from their discography. The collection features the adidas Originals Samba, adidas Originals Superstar, and adidas Campus 00 models, all adorned with a special “Year of the Snake” theme.

About the adidas Originals “Year of the Snake” Collection

While the changes are subtle, the commemorative details elevate these shoes. Each pair features snakeskin-textured Three Stripes branding, along with Hanzi lettering on the heel and a unifying cream, red, white, and gold colorway. Special edition tongues also add to the festive look.

The Samba stands out from the pack with its off-color leather patch interrupting the branding on the quarter panel. All three shoes come packaged in special edition burgundy and gold shoeboxes.

Release Details

The adidas Originals “Year of the Snake” CNY collection is expected to launch on adidas.com in the coming weeks in early 2025. The Samba will retail for US$110 while the Superstar and Campus 00 will go for US$100. Find them on the SNKRDUNK App post-release.
