[Yu-Gi-Oh TCG] Number S38: Titanic Galaxy (Premium Pack 2025 25PP-JP011) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Not from the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL manga—but without any question, clearly inspired by it.
Prior to the release of Premium Pack 2025, every card of the Number S archetype was a card based on Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL, a Yu-Gi-Oh anime and manga spin-off series. That, however, changed with the launches of Number S37: Spider Shark and Number S38: Titanic Galaxy. Of the two, the latter turned out to be the more valuable pickup.
About Number S38: Titanic Galaxy (Premium Pack 2025 25PP-JP011)
Number S38: Titanic Galaxy is a unique card in many ways. As mentioned, it’s one of the first two Number S cards which doesn’t originate from Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL—whether the anime or manga. However, this doesn’t mean that it is absolutely no ties to the manga whatsoever. Its name is taken from No. 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy which in Chapter 51 of the manga was treated as a Number S monster by way of the effect of Shining Hope Road.
The card also contains a reference to No. 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy via its effect of potentially attacking directly. That effect is based on the one of Number 28: Titanic Moth which in the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL manga was transformed into No. 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy. One of the set’s cover cards, its illustration was taken from Chapter 49 of the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL manga. In general, this card is most likely to appeal to those who got into Yu-Gi-Oh via the Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL manga due to all those points even though the character itself isn’t actually from the manga.
