About the Shohei Ohtani x SEIKO Prospex 2025 Limited Edition

The design incorporates the team colors of the Los Angeles Dodgers, where Ohtani plies his trade, as key accents. A unified black palette for the case, bracelet, and dial provides a sophisticated backdrop for the vibrant blue ceramic bezel, a direct nod to the team’s signature hue.

Further distinguishing details include the team’s red, prominently featured on the GMT hand and logo, while Ohtani’s jersey number, 17, is highlighted in red on the dial ring. Exclusive touches such as a crown engraved with “17”, a bracelet clasp bearing Ohtani’s signature, and a case back engraved with “SHOHEI OHTANI LIMITED EDITION” and a serial number further elevate the timepiece.

Powering this exceptional model is the automatic Caliber 6R54 movement with manual winding capability, offering a robust power reserve of approximately three days (72 hours).

Release Details

Priced at 330,000 JPY (~US$2,096), the Shohei Ohtani x SEIKO Prospex collaboration will be available through the SEIKO website from 7 February 2025, in two limited editions: the SBEJ023 (1,700 units) and the online-exclusive SBEJ025 (500 units).
