CONCEPT(K) x adidas Collaboration [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
Manifesting a light-to-dark ethos through a gradient ombre effect, integrated with a greyscale palette that traverses the shoe from toebox to heel.
Concept Kicks—stylized as CONCEPT(K)—under the direction of founder Daniel “Mr. Bailey” Bailey, has unveiled its latest collaboration with adidas via Instagram: a nuanced reinterpretation of a silhouette hailing from the Adizero lineage.
In contrast to prior Mr. Bailey x adidas ventures—such as the sculptural “Ammonite Superstar” (2020), the ethereal “OZLUCENT” (2022), and the metamorphic “OZMORPHIS” (2023)—this forthcoming release prioritizes elegance and quotidian wearability.
About 2025’s CONCEPT(K) x adidas Collaboration
The collaboration manifests a light-to-dark ethos through a gradient ombre effect, integrated with a greyscale palette that traverses the shoe from toebox to heel.
This chromatic progression is mirrored on the midfoot’s hallmark Three Stripe graphic, seeing each successive stripe exhibiting a subtly deeper shade than its predecessor. Suede overlays and a discreet CONCEPT(K) branding element on the tongue provide refined finishing touches. While the silhouette’s official nomenclature remains undisclosed, its sole unit bears a discernible resemblance to the Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72.
“I always want to know the new materials out there, new construction processes, and how I keep adding,” Mr. Bailey articulated to Hypebeast in a 2021 interview, encapsulating his relentless pursuit of innovation. “Even the people around me are doing incredible things, so it’s this sort of leveling up and friendly competition. It’s a combination of all those kinds of things.”
Release Details
This CONCEPT(K) x adidas release will arrive sometime in 2025. Mr. Bailey’s recent social media post hinted at a potential debut in Paris, perhaps coinciding with the prestigious Paris Fashion Week. Further details will be disclosed as they become available.
