About the Apartment Tokyo x New Balance 610v1 GTX “Subway Series”

The Apartment Tokyo x New Balance 610v1 “Subway Series” is inspired by the storied rivalry between the New York Yankees and the New York Mets, aptly naming the collaboration “Subway Series”. The palette is made of the two teams’ signature colors, with deep navy blue engulfing the base, while accented by the Yankees’ classic grey-blue and white palette. The Mets’ orange hue joins in the fray, adorning the leather overlay on the lateral toe and the foam midsole.

The pair is absent of any of the Apartment branding, allowing the spotlight to be on the pair’s make, including its materials, and construction. GORE-TEX membrane is imbued to prepare it for a vis-à-vis with Mother Nature.

Release Details

The Apartment Tokyo x New Balance 610 GTX “Subway Series” will arrive on 21 December through the Apartment’s brick-and-click stores. A wider release via New Balance remains uncertain. Nevertheless, if there is, you’ll know about it from this very page. Stay tuned!
