After the recent and exuberant debut of the Full Bloom slide, Takashi Murakami’s independent footwear brand, Ohana Hatake, continues its artistic efflorescence with its second offering.
About Takashi Murakami’s Surippa Ohana
The Surippa Ohana eschews the all-encompassing embrace of its predecessor, opting instead for a more streamlined, breathable silhouette. Exposed segments around the toe and profile offer a glimpse of the foot beneath, with the lateral view and outsole graced with his hallmark sunflower motif.
This inaugural release features a delectable color palette reminiscent of a connoisseur’s coffee bar. Rich hues of Rust, Affogato, Cappuccino, and Espresso grace the Surippa Ohana.
Release Details
Retailing for US$70, the Surippa Ohana slides are available via ohanahatake.com and Kith channels. More colorways are promised to arrive in 2025. Stay tuned!
