About the Nike Air Max Plus OG “Hyper Blue” (2025)

Originally a brainchild of designer Sean McDowell in 1998, this iteration has captivated fans for years. Last spotted in 2018, it’s making a triumphant return in 2025, complete with its signature blue wave design.

The iconic color scheme featuring Black, Chamois, Sky Blue, and the ever-present Hyper Blue makes a comeback. The upper boasts a breathable mesh construction with black TPU overlays, replicating that classic wavy aesthetic. An elasticated lacing system promises a comfortable fit, while padded tongues ensure additional support. Premium touches come in the form of suede and leather details.

True to its Air Max heritage, the shoe features the iconic Air Max unit embedded in the midsole for superior cushioning throughout the day. Reflective detailing on the tongue and the classic “TN” branding add the finishing touches.

Release Details

The Nike Air Max Plus OG “Hyper Blue” (2025) is poised to hit select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com in Spring 2025, with a price tag of US$180.
