Innovation remains an integral part of a brand’s long-term strategy, but the retro renaissance has been a strong contributor to the recent successes of many brands, from Nike to PUMA. Working with a similar MO, Salomon is reintroducing a runner from Y2K: the XT-Whisper.

About the Salomon XT-Whisper

Originally conceived as the feminine counterpart to the XT-Hawk, the XT-Whisper presents a softer aesthetic while maintaining the technical prowess emblematic of Salomon’s pedigree.

Its layered design is characterized by a mix of textured materials and the Sensifit system, in tandem with the signature Quicklace system, a hallmark of the French outdoor specialist. For its 2024 homecoming, the XT-Whisper will wear a palette of Treetop, Wren, and Sulphur Spring.

Release Details

The Salomon XT-Whisper will be available at Salomon’s brick-and-click stores from 10 December.
