The adidas Jabbar has received a retro revival. Following a series of inline releases and a high-profile collaboration with atmos, the German legacy brand concludes the year with a stealthy offering in partnership with London’s Footpatrol.

About the Footpatrol x adidas Jabbar Low

The Footpatrol x adidas Jabbar Low utilizes premium materials over ostentatious branding. The upper is primarily crafted from waxed nubuck. With subtlety the key, the Three Stripes on the quarter is in leather.

The monochromatic palette is punctuated by a faux pony hair heel tab. A vintage-inspired green tag embroidered with “Jabbar” in gold thread graces the lateral side of the heel tab. The employ of artistic restraint allows the construction and premium materials, such as the Vachetta tan leather collar liner, to take center stage. The thick, padded leather insoles stamped with adidas branding round out the design.

The pair is housed in a vintage-inspired box, adorned with a graphic of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and French text. A nod to its epoch, which traces back to adidas factories in France.

The Footpatrol x adidas Jabbar Low was released on 7 December, exclusively on Footpatrol, priced at 100 GBP (~US$128).
