JJJJound and New Balance have had a fecund partnership over the years, with some of their collaborations being some of the most coveted releases. But there’s one more bullet in the chamber for these two as the former teases the titular pair on Instagram. Therein, a monochromatic black 2002R embedded with a GORE-TEX membrane. This follows the greyscale “Charcoal” and “Pine” release of the pair earlier this year.

About the JJJJound x New Balance 2002R GORE-TEX “Black”

Information is scant, but from what can be discerned from the post, mesh and leather make up its construction. Presiding over the heel that hosts the 2002R imprint, is a GORE-TEX tag that ascertains its integration into the build of the shoe. This iteration opts for a toggle lacing system with “JJJJound” marking its lock.

Release Details
