One of the largest TCG and sports card shows in the United States, the LA Card Show, will be held at Bullpen Sports HQ El Segundo in El Segundo, California, on 7 December 2024 from 10AM to 4PM. This time around, SNKRDUNK will be participating for the very first time and will have a booth of our own!

Here’s a general run-down about what we’ll be doing at the LA Card Show:

PSA 10 Card Sales

We’ll be selling a variety of Pokémon TCG cards, all of which come in PSA 10. In total, we’ll have various Pokémon TCG cards for purchase straight from our card wall; including Pokémon TCG cards from the sixth through ninth generations including the highly-coveted Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat from the SVP Black Star Promos.

That same Pikachu with Grey Felt Hat card also ranks among the biggest pickups of all the cards we’ll be selling. Other massive hits on our wall will include the Special Art Rare (SAR) Iono card from Clay Burst [SV2D], the Charizard ex card from Pokémon Card 151 [SV2a], and two different Pretend Boss Pikachu cards from the SM-P Promotional Cards, among others.

Of course, there’ll be more than just those, so head over to our booth and find out what else we have waiting for you!

Mystery Packs

Also for sale at the SNKRDUNK booth are 3-card mystery packs, each with a pre-determined selection of Pokémon TCG cards as chosen by SNKRDUNK’s Pokémon TCG experts. There will be 200 mystery packs to be sold; each will sell for US$10 at a first come, first served basis.

Each mystery pack will contain at least one card of the Art Rare (AR) rarity or higher; in addition, all cards in each mystery pack will have a rarity of Rare (R) or higher. All cards will be in Japanese in A or B grades (as defined on the SNKRDUNK App).

Not only that—10 of the 200 packs will contain one of the five most expensive cards selected for the mystery packs: SAR versions of Marnie from Shiny Star V [S4a] and Miriam from Violet ex [SV1V], a Super Rare (SR) version of Erika’s Hospitality from Tag Bolt [SM9], and both the SAR and SR versions of the Iono card which was mentioned earlier. That means that any buyer of a mystery pack has a 1 in 20 shot of landing one of these epic pulls—odds that anyone has to love!

To round things off, we’re taking the phrase “last but not least” literally. The last remaining mystery pack will be guaranteed to have a mega-impressive pull—the Charizard ex (349/190) from Shiny Treasure ex [SV4a]. Feeling lucky? Then step forward and buy as many of our mystery packs as you desire!

Do bear in mind that these booster packs are limited-quantity and only distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t waste even one second if you’re interested in this. After all, you never know—there could be something truly incredible lurking within that very pack.

And what, you may ask, might be the prize waiting for one of you? Why, it’s none other than the card that has set the Pokémon TCG community ablaze since its recent release in October—the SAR version of the Pikachu ex card from Super Electric Breaker [SV8]. Yes, THAT Pikachu ex card. Hyped? You should be.

SNKRDUNK LA Card Show

By the way, anyone who’s heading to the LA Card Show (RSVP here!) ought to check out the whole array of booths there. There’ll be much more than just cards; a wide range of non-card vendors will be setting up at the event, ensuring that the LA Card Show truly has something for everyone.

In addition, the LA Card Show has official merchandise that can be purchased at the official online store. So, even those who don’t get the chance to go in person can still take home their very own piece of the LA Card Show.

One last thing: just so you know, our LA Card Show appearance isn’t the only TCG-related activity we’re doing right now. Why not take part in one of our Cyber Monday deals? Read all about them after clicking on the link and enjoy shopping with us!
