Anime and fashion collide once again as Japanese fast fashion brand GU collaborates with the renowned manga and anime series Sousou no Frieren to release a capsule collection in December 2024.

About the GU x Sousou no Frieren Collection

Inspired by Frieren’s memories, the collection features apparel, loungewear, and accessories drawn from her most cherished moments. Highlights include a hoodie with Himmel and his party, a sweatshirt embroidered with Frieren’s companions, and items like a flower crown-themed sweatshirt and trunk-inspired pouch.

The line also includes a sailor-collar sweatshirt nodding to the Mimic monster, a hoodie with a battle print, and pajamas featuring the blue moon flower from Himmel’s hometown. Additionally, Fern-inspired loungewear and purple satin pajamas with butterfly motifs complete the collection.

Release Details

With prices ranging from 390 JPY (~US$2.50) to 3,990 JPY (~US$26), the GU x Sousou no Frieren collection will launch on 13 December 2024, available at GU stores and on gu-global.com. Don’t miss out!
