Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles recently sported the hitherto unseen Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72 at the Las Vegas Grand Prix over the weekend.
About the Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL72
The Adizero SL72 retrofits the hallmark SL72 upper with a modern Adizero midsole. This fusion results in an aesthetically pleasing yet functionally superior silhouette. As Lyles wore, the “Off White/Chalk/Wonder White” makeup showcases the shoe’s minimalist design with subtle pops of blue and black.
The athlete has been vocal about his desire for a signature sneaker, highlighting the oft-overlooked contributions of track and field athletes. While the Adizero SL72 may not be one for him (but Bad Bunny’s), he is certainly at the vanguard of the Three Stripes’ elite roster of endorsers.
Release Details
adidas hasn’t officially offered word on the pair, but the rumor mill suggests a 15 December release of its three colorways. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!
