Nike continues its homage to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by unveiling a player-exclusive edition of the LeBron TR1 for Florida A&M University (FAMU). This special edition boasts an all-white upper accented with pine green and orange, the university’s iconic colors. It marks the first custom design for this new model.

Originally showcased by LeBron James during Team USA’s gold medal run at the Paris Olympics in 2024, the LeBron TR1 was designed as a versatile off-court trainer for athletes of various disciplines. Released in September 2024, the shoe emphasizes forefoot flexibility for enhanced movement during workouts. Its inverted waffle outsole and glove-like fit aim to reduce foot swelling during intense training sessions.

While the LeBron TR1 has previously been released in colorways like “Dunk Man” and “Zero Dark 30”, this white and green iteration is exclusively for FAMU Rattler athletes and is not expected to be available to the public.
