The card’s depiction of Magikarp in its Shiny form further elevates demand for it, just as is the case with virtually every card that features a Shiny Pokémon. This card is also a reprint of one of the first two Shining Pokémon cards ever released—the other being Shining Gyarados which was also first launched in Awakening Legends.
