From 12PM (GMT) on 21 November 2024 to 12PM (GMT) on 22 November, Pokémon TCG livestreamers from five European countries—France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom—will be participating in a Guinness World Records attempt for the longest unboxing livestream. The attempt is taking place in conjunction with the recent release of Surging Sparks [SSP] on 8 November.

The livestream can be viewed on the official YouTube and Twitch channels of The Pokémon Company International (TPCi). It will even be possible for viewers to win some of the packs and products featured during the livestream.

The world record attempt will feature a total of 24 Pokémon TCG livestreamers. It was likely organized by TPCi as a response to the recent certification of the Yu-Gi-Oh Championship Series Japan Tokyo 2024 tournament by Guinness World Records as the TCG tournament with the most participants ever.
