[Pokémon TCG] English Gen 8 Boxes Ranked by Value for Money
Boxes from Crown Zenith, Shining Fates, and Chilling Reign net buyers the best returns on average.
A recent post on the PokeInvesting subreddit by Reddit user thelastchanceeffort has ranked all booster boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes from eighth-generation English Pokémon TCG sets by value for money. The rankings were calculated by comparing the value of all the boxes needed to collect all the set’s cards to that of the price of buying each individual card in the set.
The sets are ranked by percentage of the boxes’ total cost in proportion to that of the individual cards’ total cost. The rankings from best to worst value for money are as follows:
