More Information From the Teraleak Related to the Pokémon TCG Revealed
The information is related to a scrapped Pokémon TCG mobile game as well as key art for next year's Pokémon World Championships.
Although most of the information about the Pokémon franchise in the more than one terabyte of Game Freak data that has been leaked as part of the “teraleak” thus far has been related to the Pokémon video games and anime, new information about the Pokémon TCG has now been discovered.
First off, the key art for the Pokémon World Championships 2025 which will be held in Anaheim has been leaked. Although this image isn’t directly related to the TCG, it’s certainly possible that the key art will be used as the basis for the illustration on one of the Worlds-related promotional cards next year.
It’s also now known that a Pokémon TCG mobile game was at some point in the works before being scrapped. While this mobile game was never officially named, it was internally known as “Project Swallow”. It was likely used as the foundation upon which the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket was developed.
