[Yu-Gi-Oh TCG] Liberator Etho (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP023) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
A complex effect to match its over-the-top illustration.
It’s safe to say that everything about the Liberator Etho card from newly-released Yu-Gi-Oh TCG set Supreme Darkness is extravagant. From its illustration to its rarity to its in-game effect—this card is showy to say the least.
About Liberator Etho (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP023)
What will draw most potential buyers to this card will be its striking illustration. The imagery depicts Liberator Etho channeling a massive amount of dark energy, referencing its Dark attribute. That dark energy can be seen surrounding and emerging from Liberator Etho in a way that highlights the character’s sheer power.
On that note, the card has an original ATK of 4000—the highest of any Reptile monster card ever. This card also has one of the most convoluted effects in the game: it can only be Special Summoned (from the player’s hand or Graveyard by paying half of the player’s Life Points while the opponent has a Monster Card on the field or Graveyard with an effect that activates while in hand or Monster Zone in response to a card or effect activation.
This card has a version in Quarter Century Secret Rare, the rarity commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG.
