Cards from the Azamina and White Forest archetypes have both been drawing much attention from the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG community recently—both for their collectability and gameplay viability. As such, when Azamina Elzette of the White Forest—a card which as implied by its name, is part of both archetypes—was released as part of Supreme Darkness in Quarter Century Secret Rare form, it was unsurprisingly regarded as one of the set’s biggest pickups.

About Azamina Elzette of the White Forest (Supreme Darkness SUDA-JP008)

As has been mentioned, this card comes in Quarter Century Secret Rare; it also features a female character and thus is likely to garner interest for demographical reasons. There’s also a narrative related to this card; the character depicted is a corrupted Azamina version of the character on the Elzette of the White Forest card from Infinite Forbidden as well as a younger version of Diabellze the Original Sinkeeper, a character on a card from Legacy of Destruction.

In addition, both Azamina and White Forest cards have major status within the metagame right now. The Snake-Eye deck which currently dominates the meta often makes heavy use of Azamina cards while the Runick deck frequently includes White Forest cards. On top of that, the combination of the two in the Azamina White Forest deck has created a deck archetype that’s undoubtedly on the rise right now.

Release Details

This card’s English launch will be on 23 January 2025, the international release date of Supreme Darkness.

The price of an Azamina Elzette of the White Forest card is 13,000 JPY (~US$85).
