Earlier in August, the rumor mill purported that a Union LA x Jordan Brand collaboration was in the pipeline. Now, courtesy of @sharkicks1, the veracity of the rumors has been ascertained with these first looks of 2025’s Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG.

About the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG

This latest addition in the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 saga continues the Frankenstein-esque ethos established by the 2018 collaborations. The “Shadow” collar, grafted onto the upper of a “Chicago” base, a merger of two hallmark colorways, is joined by a UNC blue thread adorning the collar seam that further accentuates this juxtaposition.

Other noteworthy elements include the paper-like tongue tag, exposed tongue seams, and the typically “aged” midsole, which lend an air of vintage authenticity to the design. The insoles, featuring illustrations that allude to the shoe’s intricate design process, offer a glimpse into the creative journey behind this project.

Release Details

Neither party has confirmed an official release date, but early reports suggest that the Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG may arrive on 12 February 2025, in line with the Air Jordan 1’s 40th anniversary. Stay tuned for more details and images in the coming weeks!
