PSA’s TCG and Sports Card Grading Services to Be Made Available at US Selected GameStop Stores
GameStop's collaboration with PSA will cover seven TCG franchises as well as any sports cards.
Starting from 18 October 2024, selected GameStop stores in the US have begun to supply TCG and sports card grading services. These services will be provided by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), the world’s leading card grading authority.
To participate in this process, the customer will first drop off any ungraded cards at a participating GameStop store. All cards must be submitted in either a penny sleeve or cardsaver before being dropped off.
GameStop will then send the cards to the graders at PSA who will work on the cards accordingly before sending them back to the GameStop store. Following the grading, the customer will receive an email stating that the cards are ready for collection. The entire process will take an estimated 45 business days.
The TCG franchises for which GameStop through PSA supplies these services include the following:
– ONE PIECE Card Game
– Yu-Gi-Oh
– Lorcana
– Pokémon TCG
– Dragon Ball
– Magic: The Gathering
– Star Wars
The fee for grading a TCG card will be US$15.99 per card while it’s US$19.99 per card for sports cards. There will also be a US$4.99 shipping fee charged unless the customer is a Pro member of GameStop. Finally, the customer will incur a surcharge for each TCG card worth over US$200 or sports card worth over US$500 post-grading.
