[Update 20 Nov 2024] New details about the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 Pack are in. Each pair will be priced at US$225. Additionally, the “Arctic Pink” pair will drop on 29 August 2025, while the “Racer Blue” pair will arrive on 19 September 2025. Stay tuned for official images soon!
[Update 29 Oct 2024] What was previously reported to be the DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 OG SPs are now the Awake NY x Nike Air Jordan 5s instead, according to multiple reliable sources. But that said, aside from a change in collaborator credits, nothing much else is different.
The pack will arrive with two pairs with different characters; the first boasts a color palette consisting of Black, Racer Blue, Metallic Silver, and Clear, while the other goes in the opposite direction with a bright Arctic Pink, Metallic Silver, University Red, Black, White, and Clear color palette instead.
All we have of the Fall 2025 shoes so far are mockups, but stay tuned for first looks in the coming weeks.
DJ Khaled and the Jumpman reunite for another run at the Air Jordan 5, succeeding their 2022 “We The Best” collaboration.
About the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 OG SP
The joint effort, revealed in an Instagram post by the exuberant producer, promises two new colorways of the AJ5. Although the exact design details remain undisclosed, the confirmed color palettes offer a glimpse into the celestial hues that will adorn the shoes.
One pair, bathed in Black and Racer Blue, evokes the depth and mystery of the cosmos. The other, adorned in Arctic Pink and University Red, is characteristic of Khaled’s flamboyant persona. Both pairs feature Metallic Silver, Black, White, and Clear accents.
Release Details
Not much is known beyond the mockups by House of Heatº but stay tuned, more details and images should emerge in the coming weeks!
