The Champion of the Sinnoh region who serves as the final boss of fourth-generation Pokémon video games Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum as well as their Gen 8 remakes Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Cynthia is one of the most iconic characters in the history of the Pokémon franchise. As such, it was only to be expected that her corresponding Pokémon TCG card turned out to be a megahit.

About Cynthia (GX Ultra Shiny [SM8b] 153/150)

This Super Rare (SR) card’s Full Art illustration depicts Sinnoh’s most powerful Trainer alongside Garchomp, her ace Pokémon. This is likely to win over many fans because Cynthia’s Garchomp serves as the climax of one of the most memorable boss fights in the entire Pokémon franchise. Her Lucario is also shown; not only is the Fighting/Steel-type one of the most popular Pokémon; it’s also shown here in its Shiny form. This undoubtedly adds further value to the card.

Of course, there’s the fact that this is a card featuring a female character in a Full Art illustration.
