[Pokémon TCG] Charizard ex (Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary [CP6] 090/087) [Release Date/Price/Where To Buy]
It's a Charizard card from a set commemorating a Pokémon TCG milestone anniversary. Did anyone seriously think it wouldn't end up being the megahit it did?

The Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary [CP6] was released in 2016 in honor of 20 years of the Pokémon TCG. Understandably, many of its cards went on to become some of its era’s biggest hits, including, not surprisingly, the Super Rare (SR) version of the Charizard ex card.
About Charizard ex (Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary [CP6] 090/087)
Having been a fan favorite ever since day one of the Pokémon franchise, just about any card that features Charizard is likely to garner serious attention. The card from Expansion Pack 20th Anniversary [CP6] is no exception—especially so because of the commemorative nature of the set. In addition, the card’s Full Art illustration is exceptionally striking; it shows Charizard ex creating an inferno via its Combustion Blast attack as a Magmar and a Flareon look on. The presence of Flareon further adds to the card’s desirability because Eeveelutions have also been perennial fan favorites.
Interestingly, the version of this card on which this illustration is seen was released in English before it was launched in Japanese. There are two English versions of this card; one before this card came out as part of the XY Black Star Promos; it was the headliner of the Charizard-EX Red & Blue Collection. The gold border of the card adds prestige—apt for a card honoring the Pokémon TCG’s 20th anniversary.
