Nike is expanding its collaboration with Deion Sanders, also known as Coach Prime, with a new release inspired by his NFL legacy. The November 2024 Nike Air DT Max ’96 “Falcons” pays homage to Sanders’ time with the Atlanta Falcons, featuring a color palette reminiscent of the team’s iconic black, anthracite grey, metallic silver, and fire red scheme.

The shoe’s design incorporates details that celebrate Sanders’ early career, including white branding on the Max Air unit and the number “21” on the heels, a reference to his Falcons jersey. The outsoles also feature elements that highlight his larger-than-life personality.

Sanders, a fifth overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft, became a versatile player known for his contributions as a cornerback, kick returner, and even occasionally as a wide receiver.

The Nike Air DT Max ’96 “Falcons” is expected to drop on 1 November 2024 via Nike, with an RRP of US$170.
