A recent image of a promotional Alolan Dugtrio card has surfaced. The card is in Traditional Chinese and appears to be an Art Rare (AR) version of an Alolan Dugtrio card to be part of the upcoming Pokémon TCG set Supercharged Breaker [SV8].

About Alolan Dugtrio (SV-P Promotional Cards 173/SV-P)

The card has a Full Art illustration depicting Dugtrio’s Alolan regional form on a hillside in a tropical setting. The location in question is the Poni Coast where Alolan Dugtrio can be found in the wild in the Pokémon Sun and Moon video games, the main-series games of Pokémon’s seventh generation.

The holofoil that covers the card is placed at an angle which makes it seem as though sunlight is streaming down. This visual effect is most pronounced in the card’s top-right corner and adds further aesthetic impact.

Release Details

It isn’t yet known when this card will be released in either English or Japanese—or if it even will at all. Additionally, the price of an Alolan Dugtrio (SV-P Promotional Cards 173/SV-P) card isn’t yet known. Stay tuned for information to come.
