[Update 17 Feb 2025] Rumors first hinted at the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft Mars Yard 3.0 in late 2024. Now, Tom Sachs has officially broken the silence, unveiling a sneaker that’s less an update and more a considered evolution. The familiar Martian landscape of the 1.0 and 2.0—Maple, Sport Red, Sail, and Tan—remains.

Suede addresses the mudguard, eyestays, and heel, while a TPU toecap provides a pragmatic shield against the elements, complemented by a breathable open-mesh polyester base layer. The addition of a lacekeeper, along with staggered eyestays and oversized eyelets, speaks to refined attention to detail.

The sole, the foundation of this lunar-inspired design, has been significantly reimagined. A full-length React foam midsole provides a cushioned ride, while a TPU heel clip ensures stability. The outsole underfoot is a composite of natural rubber and a carbon fiber plate ready to conquer any terrain, from the red planet to the urban jungle.

The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft Mars Yard 3.0 is set to debut in September 2025. Those seeking to acquire the pair can visit Tom Sachs’ website, Nike SNKRS, and select retailers, both online and in physical locations. The pair is priced at US$275 and available in men’s sizes.
