To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Monster Hunter, Digital Monster (Digimon) is partnering up with the franchise to launch the “Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition”. It will be available in two versions—”Rathalos Color” and “Zinogre Color”, both inspired by the iconic monsters from the Monster Hunter series.

About the Digimon Color x Monster Hunter 20th Edition

This Digimon COLOR device showcases UV printing technology, featuring monster imagery on its exterior. Like its predecessors, it boasts a color LCD screen, a built-in rechargeable battery, and customizable background designs. The game is powered by the included USB Type-C charging cable.

Featuring a diverse roster of 36 monsters, including standard, subspecies, and variant types, this device also offers exclusive anniversary collaborations designed by Digimon character designer Kenji Watanabe.

Raise RathalosGreymon and ZinogreGarurumon, fusions of iconic Digimon and Monster Hunter creatures.

To enhance user experience, the device includes a cold mode to pause monster growth and prevent status decline, similar to previous models. Additionally, a backup system allows users to store one monster while raising another.

Priced at 7,700 JPY (~US$53) each, the Digimon Color x Monster Hunter 20th Edition “Rathalos Color” and “Zinogre Color” devices are available for pre-orders on the Premium Bandai website starting 26 September. Secure yours now!
