Performance basketball may be PUMA’s domain, but the German legacy brand has been quietly crafting a series of innovative and captivating designs. Drawing inspiration from the ’90s and early 2000s, PUMA has embarked on a journey to revitalize its aesthetic, resulting in bold footwear releases.

The latest addition to this collection is the PUMA Mostro 3D. In a surprising twist, PUMA has revealed that the Mostro 3D is a collaborative effort with the artist and entrepreneur, A$AP Rocky.

About the A$AP Rocky x PUMA Mostro 3D Pack

This futuristic silhouette features a perforated upper, a testament to the intricate possibilities of 3D printing technology. The spiked details adorning the upper echo the aggressive design language of the original PUMA Mostro, creating a visually arresting ensemble.

The slip-on shoe’s asymmetrical foot opening further enhances its futuristic appeal, providing comfort and a distinctive aesthetic. The interior boasts a textured footbed and perforations around the collar, for breathability and a snug fit. PUMA’s hallmark Formstrip seamlessly integrates into the design, subtly blending into the midfoot, while additional branding adorns the medial side of the forefoot.

The Mostro 3D is available in two colorways: in Red/Black and the Black/Volt combination. The spiked rubber outsole, featuring zonal grip areas near the toe and heel, provides exceptional traction.

Release Details

The A$AP Rocky x PUMA Mostro 3D in the “Red” colorway will make its debut on 26 September, available online through PUMA for US$250.
