For the first time ever, BANDAI will be organizing a ONE PIECE Card Game tournament intended for elementary schoolchildren across Japan. The Area Preliminaries of the inaugural Elementary School Strongest Champion will take place in seven locations across Japan from 27 October to 7 December 2024.

About the Elementary School Strongest Champion Tournament

The seven Area Preliminaries will take place in Sendai (27 October), Sapporo (4 November), Fukuoka (10 November), Hiroshima (17 November), Himeji (24 November), Nagoya (1 December), and Tokyo (7 December). All participants are required to be of elementary school age on the day of the event.

Registration for any of the events is to be done via the BANDAI TCG+ app from 20 September to 6 October. Participants will be selected by way of a raffle.

All participants will receive a copy of the 5-card Promotion Pack Vol. 6 as well as one of five promotional card sleeves. Every finalist will also be awarded a copy of a Parallel Art version of the Sabo card from Kingdoms of Intrigue [OP-04].

Three items will be sold at each tournament venue. These items are as follows: the Official Playmat Limited Edition Vol. 2 (3,850 JPY / ~US$27), the Limited Card Sleeve Premium Matte Vol. 2 (990 JPY / ~US$6.90), and the Premium Card Collection – Best Selection Vol. 3 (2,640 JPY / ~US$18).
