[Update 25 Sep 2024] It’s now confirmed that the ASICS-ONE is a model produced by ASICS in collaboration with ONE OK ROCK’s Taka. It’s set to drop on 27 September through ASICS and select retailers in Japan, retailing at 27,900 JPY (~US$208). The lead vocalist of the Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK, Takahiro Moriuchi (Taka), has recently dropped a bombshell for sneaker enthusiasts and fans alike. He’s unveiled a brand-new, never-before-seen ASICS footwear, aptly named the “ASICS-ONE”.
About the ASICS-ONE
While there’s no official confirmation of a full collaboration with Taka, the name “ASICS-ONE” hints at a strong connection to the band. The sneaker boasts a sleek, all-black design, opting for a laceless closure.
Adding a touch of rebellious flair, flame graphics adorn the upper, while an inner pad provides ankle support. A grippy outsole pattern ensures traction, making it perfect for both stage and street.
