The Boston-based brand has further welded itself into relevancy by way of strategic collaborations and original design. This has been one of their keys to staying relevant and going strong even in 2024.
It’s only natural we’d like to look back (and forward) to some of the most interesting New Balance collaborations of 2024 and take a moment to give the brand the props they deserve. The list is arranged in no particular order and is not exhaustive.

Rapper Action Bronson has teamed up with New Balance for his latest collaboration, the FuelCell Rebel v4 “Foxtrot”. This performance-oriented sneaker combines Bronson’s bold aesthetic with the FuelCell Rebel v4 platform. The Coral-based colorway and striking accents reflect the rapper’s eclectic style. While details about the release are limited, fans can expect more information in the coming weeks.
3. Salehe Bembury x New Balance 530
Renowned designer Salehe Bembury is set to release a new collaboration with New Balance on the 530. The shoe features a vibrant volt green colorway and a mesh upper. While details are limited, the leaked images suggest a unique and stylish design that aligns with Bembury’s signature aesthetic.
4. Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL Collection
Miu Miu, Prada’s sister brand, has unveiled its collaboration with New Balance using the 530. The chunky sneaker features a unique design with frayed details and “MIU MIU” branding. The collaboration was released in February 2024.
5. Action Bronson 1906R Pack
Let’s start with the blue-hued Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R “Medusa Azúl”. The shoe features a predominantly blue mesh and synthetic upper. The shoe’s color palette, “Medusa Azúl”, references Bronson’s previous 990v6 collaboration, “Lapis Lazuli“, showcasing his affinity for blue hues.
Earthy brown accents on the midfoot and grey on the tongue add warmth, while pops of black through the heel cage, mudguard, and boot-inspired laces tie everything together. Underfoot, a two-tone Abzorb midsole and blue-gum outsole provide both comfort and style.
The “Rosewater” colorway of the Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R features a unique translucent layer that overlays the white and pink mesh upper. This creates a diffused effect, while blue accents on the eyestays and “N” logo and pink on the heel counter add contrast. A gum-colored midsole completes the design.
6. The Basement x New Balance 1906R Collection
London streetwear brand The Basement has teamed up with New Balance for a second collaboration, this time featuring the 1906R silhouette. The collaboration includes two colorways: a black and grey model with silver accents and a lighter-colored model with chrome accents. Both feature co-branded details and a futuristic design.
7. Salehe Bembury x New Balance 991v2
Renowned designer Salehe Bembury’s latest collaboration with New Balance, the 991v2, features a vibrant purple suede upper with contrasting accents in blue, green, and orange. The shoe is expected to retail for around US$250 and will drop this year.
8. Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 475
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 990v6 collaboration features two colorways. The grey/green colorway features vintage-inspired details, while the multi-colored colorway features a playful preppy aesthetic reminiscent of the 2019 ALD x New Balance 997 pack. Both colorways feature the same branding style and intricate stitching.
9. Kith x New Balance 990v4 MADE in USA “Grey”
The Kith x New Balance 990v4 features a muted greyish-green suede upper with perforated nubuck overlays and cream accents. Its minimalist design and subtle branding make it a standout piece.
10. Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 “Ghost” Collection
The Stone Island x New Balance 991v2 Ghost collaboration features three monochromatic colorways: Sand, Green, and Black. The shoes are made with premium materials and feature subtle, tone-on-tone details and branding elements.
11. PaperBoy Paris x New Balance SuperComp Elite v4
PaperBoy Paris, a popular Parisian café, has collaborated with New Balance on a new sneaker, the FuelCell SuperComp Elite V4. The high-performance running shoe features a white upper with bold black outlines and co-branded details.
Some other notable mentions include the Loro Piana x New Balance 990v6, Bricks & Wood x New Balance 1906U, and size? x New Balance 860v2 “Bacon”. American rapper Aminé is also cooking up something with New Balance that will be released sometime this year.
