Three decades have passed since the release of Ready to Die. The Notorious B.I.G.’s magnum opus, released in 1994, cemented Biggie’s place as a cornerstone of hip-hop’s golden age.

From the opening lines of “Hypnotize,” where he rapped, “Timbs for my hooligans in Brooklyn,” to the somber introspection of “Suicidal Thoughts”, his affinity for Timberland boots was clear. Beyond music, he was often seen sporting Timbs, proving their cultural resonance.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of his seminal album, Timberland has partnered with The Notorious B.I.G.’s estate to create a special collection of 6-Inch Boots.

About The Notorious B.I.G. x Timberland Collection

The collection comprises two 6-inch Premium Boots, rendered in “Wheat” and “Black” nubuck. They feature golden lace dubraes emblazoned with Timberland branding and a hang tag adorned with Biggie’s crown logo and the Ready to Die album cover.

The insole and black leather collar also nod to Biggie. The classic Timberland 6-Inch Boot sole unit, featuring Notorious B.I.G. branding on the heel, completes the tribute.

Release Details

The Notorious B.I.G. x Timberland Collection will be available for purchase on 27 September, exclusively through Foot Locker online and in-store. The “Wheat” pair will be offered in both men’s and kids’ sizes, while the “Black” pair will be available in adult sizes only. Retail prices are set at US$210 for adult pairs and US$120 for the GS size.
