[Update 2 Oct 2024] The highly anticipated adidas Climacool, formerly known as the Climamog, is slated for release on 25 October 2024 at a price of US$140. This marks a significant departure from the original release timeline, as it is expected to hit the market much sooner than previously announced.

About the adidas Climacool “Off White”
This 100% polyurethane shoe is inspired by the unreleased Derrick Rose DZY sneaker. Its open-space mesh-like construction ensures optimal breathability, while the snug fit offers a level of comfort akin to the iconic Foam RNNR.
The interior lining is crafted from Climacool with adidas employing a 3D printing technique that involves “baking” the printed material to achieve the desired size and shape.
This approach contrasts with the Digital Light Synthesis method used in previous 3D-printed footwear, which involved processing light, oxygen, and liquid resins to create intricate geometric structures.
Release Details
An official release date hasn’t been disclosed, but adidas has begun seeding pairs to select influencers, suggesting that a wider launch is imminent. This strategy mirrors the approach taken with the Adizero Aruku, which is set for a limited release in 2024 before a more extensive rollout in 2025.
